Mission Statement
In March of 2009, the Mercersburg Council for the Arts received its non-profit status. We are eager to begin project development in areas including music, visual arts, dance, theatre, and creative writing, taking a wide variety of ages and ethnicities into account.
Our mission statement reflects our fundamental goals:
“To enrich our community via the arts, to facilitate dialogue between Mercersburg area artists and the community, and to encourage local artists."

Mercersburg Council for the Arts believes:

- Provide diverse and unique art experiences for the community

- Serve as a resource for artists and the community at large
